Journey Chinese Tea Night Draws Cultural Enthusiasts

15/01/2025

Journey Chinese successfully hosted its first Cultural Experience 'Chinese Tea Night' on January 14, 2025, at The Vita Nova in Woolloongabba.

The sold-out cultural experience brought together tea enthusiasts for an intimate evening of authentic Yunnan tea traditions.

The event, led by a master tea practitioner from Yunnan Province, delivered an immersive exploration of premium Pu'er tea. Guests experienced traditional brewing techniques while enjoying Chinese desserts in the carefully curated setting.

"The evening exceeded our expectations in creating meaningful cultural connections," said Larita Nicolson, founder of Journey Chinese. "Our guests particularly appreciated the personal guidance from our Yunnan tea master and the live calligraphy demonstration which involved participants to sign their name on a piece of art."

The exclusive gathering maintained its intimate atmosphere with just twelve participants, allowing for deep engagement with Chinese tea customs. Attendees also embraced the opportunity to purchase authentic Chinese tea sets and accessories, extending their tea journey beyond the event.

The success of this cultural initiative has strengthened Journey Chinese's position as a new leader of authentic Chinese cultural experiences in Brisbane.

The next tea event is scheduled for early July 2025. Register interest
